Raphinha can leave Leeds United for peanuts should they be relegated, it has been revealed.
The Brazilian has been a revelation for the Yorkshire club since joining from French outfit Stade Rennais in the summer of 2020, contributing 15 goals and 12 assists during his brief time at Elland Road so far.
He has also been called up for the Brazilian National team in that time, finding the net on 3 occasions from his seven appearances for the Selecao.

But, his time with Leeds seems certain to come to an end this summer, with the club fighting to stay in the Premier League. Clearly, Raphinha is well below where his ability suggests he should play.
Relegation release clause revealed
And now, as per Fabrizio Romano, Raphinha will be free to leave for as little as £25 million should Leeds United fall out of the English top flight, while his release clause should they stay in the Premier League is set at £75 million.
Raphinha’s contract includes two release clauses: 75 million in case Leeds will stay in PL, 25 million if relegated. That’s why Barcelona are waiting to make their opening bid. 🇧🇷 #FCB

It is unlikely that Leeds would demand that release clause to be met, with their star seemingly wanting out and down to just 2 years left on his current deal with Jesse Marsch’s side.
However, their price would likely be significantly more than 25 million, with the 25 year old likely to go for upwards of 35 million pounds if the interest is there.
First, however, Leeds need to stay in the top flight.
