Juventus line up summer offer for Manchester United star

Juventus are thought to be lining up a summer offer for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, who is out of contract in June.

The Italian side are currently struggling in Serie A, sitting in 4th place and 8 points off the lead as they now look unlikely to win the scudeto for the second year in a row following Inter Milan pipping them to the post last campaign.

And now, they are looking to bring Pogba back to Turin in an attempt to bring glory back to the Old Lady, with the Frenchman having during his 4 seasons in Italy previously.

It has been less pleasant since his return to Manchester United, however.

His five years back with the Red Devils have yielded far less than expected from both sides, with Pogba unable to nail down a spot in central midfield and often being from the left hand-side.

While this season the Frenchman threatened to return to something like his best domestically, with 4 assists in the opening game of the season against Leeds United, a thigh injury kept him sidelined for three months.

What offer is being made?

According to Italian outlet Gazetta della Sport, Max Allegri and co. are willing to offer Pogba a three-year deal consisting of a base salary of 7.5 million euros per year.

That would represent a significant downgrade on his current reported deal at Manchester United, thought to be 18.2 million euros per year.

But, a move back to Turin could bring the best back out of Paul Pogba.
